Option 1: Recharge your blank ID to purchase software
- Basic account status: Blank account has no built-in balance and cannot directly purchase paid apps. There are two recharge methods:
- Binding overseas payment methods yourself (this site does not provide relevant support);
- Purchase an Apple Gift Card in the corresponding region to recharge your account.
- Important Rules for Recharging Gift Cards: About 3% consumption tax will be charged for purchasing software in regions such as the United States, and a tax limit must be reserved for the recharge balance, otherwise the balance will be prompted that the balance is insufficient. Example: For software with a price tag of US$2.99, it is recommended to reserve more than US$4 in the account balance.
- Frequently Asked Questions: When some accounts use gift cards to consume, the system will force a binding payment method. There is no solution to this problem and it is not within the scope of after-sales processing.
Option 2: Directly purchase the software finished product number
- Advantages of finished product number: The account has purchased the target payment software in advance, or has a built-in sufficient balance. After logging in, you can directly download the corresponding App.
- Store display processing that still requires payment: This is an App Store page caching issue. Ignore the payment prompt and directly click Download to install normally.
Supplementary reminder
- Gift cards need to match the region where the Apple ID belongs. Cross-regional gift cards cannot be recharged;
- After you recharge, you can check the gift card redemption tutorial to complete the balance transfer operation.
